Asia’s sustainable fashion evolution is set to reach a new pinnacle. On March 28, the Final Judging and Award Ceremony of the 2025 SUSTASIA FASHION PRIZE — Asia’s first prize dedicated to sustainable innovation in fashion — will be held at SUHE HAUS in Shanghai, and an exhibition of finalists’ works will be unveiled at the same time (March 29 – April 6). Jointly organized by the Shanghai Fashion Designers Association (SFDA) and yehyehyeh, the prize is designed to accelerate sustainable practices and innovation in Asia’s fashion industry. By providing cash awards and industry support, it encourages designers to integrate sustainable principles and cutting-edge materials and techniques into their work, thereby driving the green transformation of the fashion sector.
On March 28, eight finalists from across Asia will converge in Shanghai to present their final works—created under the guidance of the “Shan Future Challenge”— to an expert judging panel. Their designs demonstrate how to expand the boundaries of fashion expression at the convergence of diverse cultural narratives, traditional craftsmanship and global sustainable innovation.
The esteemed judging panel is composed of experts from the fields of fashion and sustainable innovation, who will witness the rise of new sustainable fashion forces in Asia.
